W3page tutorials

To quickly learn how to use W3page website building system, read our short tutorials, where the process is thoroughly explained. When you start using W3page, you have to login into the Admin area first. Admin area is divided in 4 sections: Dashboard, Content Editor, Design Editor and File Manager.

The W3page system always runs two copies of your website – a published copy and a working copy. The working copy represents changes that you most recently made to your website and have not yet published. Those changes are viewable only by you (and other administrators) and will not be visible to the rest of the world. In fact, when you first create your website it will still appear as non-existent until you publish it for the first time. You can do that by clicking the “Publish website” button, which is always located in the upper right corner of the Admin area.

If you want to see how your working copy would look like before it is published, you can use a “preview” link, located to the left of the publish button. Right next to it, there is a “visit” link, which will take you to the published copy of your website. If you are running multiple websites under one account, a “switch” link will also appear, letting you switch between all of your websites.

Now that you are familiar with the basic framework of W3page website building system, you can continue reading progressive tutorials on how to use different sections of the Admin area:
